Commissioning a bespoke piece of hand made furniture is, by its very nature, going to be more expensive than an "off the shelf" item of mass produced furniture.

It can be a daunting prospect to trust a craftsman to make a reality the beautiful piece of furniture that is currently perhaps only an idea in your head. But it should be an enjoyable, stimulating and exciting process to see a design develop from an idea on paper to the finished article, and it is my job to make this happen.

There is a vast array of beautiful timbers to choose from, many of which you will never have seen or even heard of and of course there is almost a free choice of size, style, detail and type of finish that you require. It may be that you want a piece to match something that you already have, or perhaps to reflect the style and features of a particular room. It may be that you really are not sure what you want and are looking for ideas and inspiration. All of these things can be explored.
